Jesus saves. This is the Gospel. Jesus saves ….from what? Jesus saves from addictions, poverty and lack, sexual immorality, sickness and disease even death, depression, oppression , a lack of peace and so much more. Jesus saves.
You must understand that because of the choices of Adam and Eve regarding their choice of disobedience to God in the Garden of Eden partaking of the forbidden fruit when they were told by God not to….. all man fell. This is explained in Genesis Chapter 2 of your Bible. Because of this fall there was now a great chasm or gap between God and man. Satan entered into the picture and brought all different types of sin to bring about man’s downfall. There was no man alive that was without sin. The Bible says man was born in sin now and shaped up in iniquity. Man’s penalty for sin was death Romans 6:23 For it states , for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. In John 3:16 it shares, For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but should have everlasting life. So the Son of God came to earth and was crucified on an old rugged cross being a substitute for us….therefore dying in our place allowing the wrath of God to fall on Him that we might be forgiven for our sins and our relationship (that gap or chasm) be restored with the Father God. In St John 8:31-32 it states you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. Free from what? Bad habits, addictions low self esteem depression oppression lack, sexual immorality and unrest. The scripture ends by saying whom the Son has set free is free indeed.
Jesus Saves! He saves from financial lack. His word promises that He shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. Phil. 4:19 He is the Lord your shepherd you shall not want Psalms 23. If you delight yourself in him he will give you the desires of your heart Psalms 37:4.
Forget not his benefits whom forgiveth all your iniquities and heals all your diseases Psalms 103. Jesus saves.
Upon receiving Him into your heart all your sins are forgiven when you request such …you become HIs child and God the Father becomes your father. Now if your are saved and these promises belong to you because you are walking in the truth as a child of God …I salute you. If you are not and you would like to commit now, just say this brief prayer with me. Father , I ask you to forgive me of my sins. I asked you to come into my heart. I receive you now. Thank you for saving me. I will read your word for myself. I will find a local church that teaches the word of God in it’s entirety. Now WELCOME to the Family of God.
